Rejuvenate your creative self. Be inspired by the beauty and quiet of Orcas Island. Spend time on the creation of new work.

You're welcome to bring a fellow artist to share expenses, and share your retreat experience, too. Ask for one the Nuthatch room or the Steller or Flicker Suite, all of which have separate beds. Whether collaborating or working on separate projects, artists often find the interaction with other artists inspires and challenges their thinking in new ways, as well as builds artistic bonds and community.

Next Retreat: March 12-19, 2010

The retreat provides seven nights lodging including all bedding, towels, bathroom amenities, terry robes, continental breakfast each morning, wireless Internet access, guest refrigerator, microwave, electric tea kettle, selection of teas or cocoa available anytime, and a garden hot tub.

We are ¼ mile from North Beach, and ¾ mile to the village of Eastsound where artists will find shops, galleries, art supplies, restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, and more. Moran State Park, Obstruction Pass State Park, and Turtleback Mountain Reserve are just a short drive away. The San Juan Islands are known for great hiking, biking, kayaking, whale-watching and marine wildlife tours, pottery, organic farms, permaculture, and outstanding restaurants.
